Part of last week's Westpac Mobile Art Studio activity at our school was the entry of all the art work into the Westpac "100 Things We Love About Our Town" art competition. Our children's work was entered in the under 16 Years section and I am proud to be able to congratulate our own Kate Hazell, a Year One student in class 1/2W, as the winner of this section.
Kate encapsulated what she loves about the Camden Haven with an excellent painting of paragliders over North Brother Mountain, a sight that we've all no doubt enjoyed seeing many times. Kate received a $100 prize for her efforts and her painting, along with many others from this competition, was auctioned to support Kendall Riding for the Disabled.
Kate is pictured here, outside the new Westpac Bank branch office in Bold Street, with her winning painting.
