ANZAC March

Mrs Price and our School Captains conducted a special school ANZAC ceremony to acknowledge and respect the brave men and women who fought for our country and commemorate those who lost their lives. I would like to thank Mr Vince Dawson, Mr Syd Farrow and Mr Buster Beatly, representatives from the RSL Sub Branch for making time available to speak to our students.

Our captains also had the privilege of leading a huge contingency of representatives of our school from the LUSC to the cenotaph with great pride and they were very composed when laying the wreath for the fallen on behalf of LPS. Mrs Kemp, Mrs Strong, Mrs Smith and I were humbled by the wonderful behaviour and respect all of our students displayed at this very special ceremony. Congratulations children, I was very proud and thank you parents for highlighting the importance of the tradition of ANZAC day.
